1. Free trial
Every new account gets a free trial of the paid features. No payment is taken during the trial and you can cancel at any point before it ends without being charged.
We email you before the trial ends. If you do nothing, the plan you chose starts and your payment method is charged.
2. Billing
Plans are billed in advance, monthly or annually, in the currency shown at checkout. Applicable taxes — GST/HST/QST in Canada, state and local sales tax in the United States — are calculated at checkout and shown before you confirm.
Card details are handled entirely by our payment processor. We never see or store a full card number; our systems hold only a token, the last four digits and the expiry.
A receipt is emailed for every successful charge, and every invoice is available in Subscription Management.
3. Cancelling
Cancel any time from Subscription Management — no phone call, no retention conversation, no reason required.
Cancellation takes effect at the end of the period you have already paid for. Until then you keep full access. After that the account reverts to the free tier; your data is not deleted and you can still read and export it.
If you subscribed through the Apple App Store or Google Play, you must cancel in that store's subscription settings — we cannot cancel or refund a store-billed subscription on your behalf.
4. Refunds
- First charge — full refund if you ask within 14 days of the first payment on a plan, whether or not you used it.
- Annual plans — full refund within 30 days of the charge. After that, a pro-rata refund of the unused whole months if you cancel because of a material service failure or a change we made that materially reduced the service.
- Accidental renewal — if you did not intend to renew and have not meaningfully used the service since the charge, tell us within 30 days and we refund it.
- Duplicate or incorrect charges — refunded in full, always, as soon as we can confirm them.
- Service outage — if a paid feature is unavailable for more than 72 consecutive hours through our fault, you can request a credit or pro-rata refund for the affected period.
To request a refund, write to eliezereisenbach@gmail.com from your account email with the invoice number. We answer within 5 business days and approved refunds return to the original payment method within 5–10 business days, depending on your bank.
We do not refund partial months on monthly plans that were used, and we do not refund charges more than 12 months old.
5. Your statutory rights
This policy is in addition to, and does not limit, rights you have by law.
- Quebec — under the Consumer Protection Act you may cancel a distance contract within 7 days of receiving it in the cases the Act specifies, and you have specific rights where a contract with sequential performance is not delivered as promised.
- Ontario and other provinces — consumer protection legislation gives you a right to cancel certain remote agreements and to a refund within 15 days where required disclosure was not made.
- United States — some states give additional cancellation and automatic-renewal rights, including California's automatic renewal law, which requires clear notice before renewal and an easy online cancellation path. We provide both.
- Chargebacks — you can always dispute a charge with your card issuer. We would rather you asked us first, and we will not close your account for filing a dispute.
6. Price and plan changes
We give at least 30 days' notice by email before a price increase applies to your plan. You can cancel before it takes effect and pay nothing more.
If we remove a feature your plan was sold on, you can cancel and receive a pro-rata refund for the remainder of the paid period.
